Paralyzed We Are
Born she feels for only pain,
her life a stance for notice.
Her and I so much the same,
yet cry for different motives.
She ask not for the way she lives,
my hurt is hand delivered.
There's nothing more that she can give,
I'll steal all shakes and shivers.
No notice left for circumstance,
no knocks upon the door.
Hypnotized by the pennies dance,
we both still beg for more.
She cannot stand and walk away,
I can its jut I won't.
I feel so sorry for herself,
I should tell her but I don't.
