Paralyzed
sleep

in the
dark

no light
no sound
until
the monsters growl
they wake up when I wake up
they approach me
when my body is asleep
I find their shadows
they look at me
I open my eyes
turns out
I'm still alive
tonight wasn't the night
heart stops racing
I'm going to be all right
