Paradise Within

I cannot fly with gilded wings
To distant places unknown
I sit with what my memory brings
And dream of regal queens and kings
As I sit alone

Bound to my  holy ground
Having only what I see
With a glory all around
Doves and angels in flight abound
Gladly watching over me

I shall never regret the past
Or miss what has never been
I feel my soul is free at last
Frozen hearts of stone are cast
From my paradise within
