Paradise

Paradise is lost to never return
All we could do is watch it burn
The helpless feeling we felt inside
The sorrow we felt as families died
The hope we have that people survived
God opened his arms to countless souls
Now comes the task of sifting through the coals
All we can do is kneel and pray
And hope these families have somewhere to stay
The way this fire started is really strange
Management control has got to change

I understand your thoughts completely. There is so much going on in the world today. Very sad indeed. I am praying that things change, and for the better. Your words wrap softly around me. ~ Brandy

A timely poem, that says we really need to think about what is happening, and the only thing we can do is pray.
