Pannhaas part One

Part One of the Hearts of Man

They looked tommorrow in the face
and decided to sail
there beyond the sea
whereAegir troubles
to cause the storms to task men
we shall stand positioned
to reap the bounty of the sea
One sailor stood and said and you shall be alone
as we are wise to the storms
of this place The Odyssey might sail
but without a crew
he sighted endangering a system for personal gain
had drawn this crew to refuse to sail
" trouble ye thyn self"
they chanted and walked away.
Day's later the Captain reentered the city looking for
a new crew
with promises of gold and tresure
and women that even the unworthiest man
could have as his own.
Lines formed and a fellow who had be a crew member
to this same Captain stood and said
he'll lead you to the Scylla to be the meal of
the creature
might this entertain him
and then before Casear he shall stand
to beg for appropreations
to do the same again.
The Captain stood and said are you saying that
I have forsakened my crew
yet we've haven't parted.
The sailor stood taller saying yes
you shall lure them to there demise
that it might please you.
Just as you did in the name of exploration
and again in the name of redemption
and agin in the name
of lost treasure.
Four ships lost to the Creation
and again Casear shall allocate
to the ends of these men
as long
as they contiune to sail.
I stand to warn them that you are mad
and uncaring.
Queitly the Captain was hastened away
and days later
with a small crew he sailed.
