Pandora's Box

A box that nested
at that dark corners of ours
but was never given a key
and we never bothered to notice
like the first leaves of spring
rich in our innocence
we played along our days...

but then they came
without dropping a word
forcing it open
only to realise
it was our Pandora's box!
