Pandora's Box
Pandora’s Box
Prometheus was condemned to a fate,
With his liver used as bait.
He stole the fire from Zeus,
Feeling sorry for mans abuse.
He was caught,
And his binding ropes were taut.
Hephaistos was instructed to make Pandora,
Who radiated a beautiful aura.
She was given a box,
And told not to tamper with the lock.
Curiosity a constant itch,
A small peak would be rich.
Pandora couldn’t help it,
Curiosity is an endless pit.
So she opened her box,
And out flew the horrible pox.
Electronic devices,
For very high prices.
Cell phones, computers, and electricity,
All with their own toxicity.
They can’t survive without their mate,
Sealing mankind's fate.
Electronics will seal our fate,
Thanks to Pandora’s internal debate.
