PANDORA
PANDORA
Some may shrug and call it a fairytale
But many then and now, believe it true
The first human woman called Pandora
Made as a beautiful evil with silver aura
Created by Zeus as retribution was due
For the gift of fire that had left its trail
It was intended that few men could cope
A curse on humanity was thus conceived
And Hermes gave her a shameless mind
Lies and deceit to spread among mankind
A jar or box, of plagues she also received
When opened, all that remained was hope
