Pandemic Day
The sun is shining
The sky is blue
The forest is turning green
The birds are singing
And building their nests
It’s a great sight to see
The trees are blossoming
The flowers are blooming
There’s fresh mown grass in the air
The squirrels are running all around
Up and down the trees
Chasing each other in pairs
We’ve opened up the windows
And our cats are in the sill
Watching the critters at play
Except for the pollen making me sneeze
It’s going to be....
A beautiful pandemic day!
