Pandemic
Amid stillness surreptitiously lurk
harbingers of unforeseen gloom
Dispassionately subjugating human
fragility and infantile neurosis
Most defy the culprit others deny
while withered flesh face doom
Naysayers need gape shut eyes
then amend their destructiveness
