I sleep on a palmetto moon. You tell me that I rhyme too soon, that my piano's out of tune, and I'm crazy, like a loon. We slept on fields of lily clover You and me, this wild Irish rover. Did I hear you say it's over? Should I jump from Cliffs of Dover? We slept, as you were lying there, alas, beautiful, fine, and fair. Did I hear the serpents in your hair tell me, "Go flying in the air"?

This was enjoyable. I found the tribute to Medusa very interesting.

Glad you liked it Hilda. Who knows why that popped into my head. I think maybe there was a contest or someone wrote a poem about Medusa, and so it popped into my mind.
