Pale Rider

"Pale Rider"

on the back of pale wings
spread wide the notion
life melts into
Icarus

a small death
never felt so sweet
two worlds
briefly meet

rising
falling
vibrations
eclipsed

"Never regret thy fall, O Icarus of the fearless flight, For the greatest tragedy of them all, Is never to feel the burning light."
