Pale Night

I woke up at midnight for a meteor shower
But, it was too cloudy to see any stars
I am sitting down on the sofa with disappointment
But from the moonlight I found solace

The moon hiding behind clouds
Humming to the waves sounds
Its shyness reminds me of ancient mysteries
Love, blood and ambition in the stories

Listening to the sounds of waves repeated for millions of years
It’s amazing no sounds are the same in my ears
The night is shone in pale white by the moon
It’s perfect for me to enjoy sitting alone
