Painting of a Night Wish

If this too will pass
then how long will it last
Will this be my on going task
In need of guidance
I’ll attempt to be compliant
Defiant of the usual path
Not willing to compromise my dream

Team me up, Fill my cup, I’m corrupt
Tough luck is hard to tame, Slightly insane, I grow weary of this game
Shame me once shame me twice
I know I can suffice
Just one last time I roll the dice

Build me up, Break me down, Soon I won’t be around
Do these words strike you with their eclectic sound
Round and round the lovers go
Not too fast not too slow
Where we stop we soon will know

Think of the ways, Count the days, hold my heart at bay
Stray from the norm, Calm the storm, My heart is torn
Place the crown of thorns on my head, Slip me into bed
Think of the glory, Follow the story, Forget me in the morning
