Painting
Clouds hang between verdant mountains
Mystery and illusion reconcile as the painter puts her tools away
This day is shrouded in distinct memories that
Never ever fade away-
She had painted boats that hugged the shoreline
Dripping with mollusks and barnacles galore
Only to find her preference of subject matter
was seen in the backdrop of mountains that she had
never really seen before.
Gingerly as she puts her tools away
she begins to value them like never before
awakening in the soul of her heart
as if someone just opened the door
And
Revelling in the illumination that made her spirit take flight
her brushes painted a marvellous picture
it was such a wondrous sight.
