Painter Me

Green on my fingers, pink and purple too. Acrylic paint lingers, Ah! There is red and blue. When I paint I’m such a mess, Ruin my clothes every time. Outer beauty must confess. Truly hidden under grime. Magical canvas, Interrupts in ups and downs. Makes me so happy, In yellows, blues and browns. Light and lively, My fingers and my knees Paint is everywhere, Because I am being me.

This reminds me of growing up... as I not only ruined my clothes with acrylic paint, but my bedspread, carpet, and anything else in a nearby radius! ;P (It was worth it!!!)

If you didn't dive right in and make a splash, you wouldn't enjoy painting as much. Enjoy it.

Thank you Jennifer. My house is a virtual sea and forest of colors - most of them florescent; I live in the deepest, most thrilling part of the ocean in this way.

I hope it's latex based paint. Very well written, Caren. Warmest Wishes~ Warren.

Thank you Warren. It is acrylic based paint, except when I begin experimenting and throw in sawdust, glitter, pearls, and other stuff, then it is a fantastic concoction of pure "genius" and practically no paint at all.
