Painted Veil

What we commit
we just commit
to bring the fate
dawn to it's knees

said poet to his reflection
then the opposite face
smiled gently and whispered backword
kneel to bring about all mighty sins

kneel to begin
what’s coming after
then ever after
and after ever after

remember nothing
but only flames
when someone reads
your songs of fame

when someone cries
on poet’s fate
not knowing what's hidden
under the painted veil
