Painted Sandals

Painted Sandals
Walk fluent with sandals bare-foot
Just like a peaceful portrait
What are they even thinking
Painted still on the wall for decades
Can they come alive jumping out of the frame?
I’m so free to roam
I’m not posted on the wall
Human king filled with luxury
I’m not a color fading
Just simple feet pondering
Don’t take life for granted
Only one life to live
Each day is vibrant
Tapestries bewildered
Paradise beyond the morning skies
Engraved images can’t negotiate
