Modern day prophets and poets of rhyme
Capturing moments left frozen in time
Writing down words echoing in their mind
Illustrating visions for the lost and blind
Yet for viewing between lines of reality
They may border the balances of insanity
Because the gift or source behind their hand
Might be something they don’t understand
They enter realms that most won’t explore
Paying attention to things most will ignore
Two steps ahead of all our social confusion
Stepping outside the walls of this illusion
They feel driven by an unknown force
Sketching out maps of mankind’s course
Painted by remnants of past decadence
From an old and ancient remembrance
