Paint Me
Wash me in color
as you see, how you feel -
I, your blank canvas, await;
make me real.
Bring me to life
with your brush; paint me air -
a breath with each stroke;
fill my lungs; show you care.
Paint me…
I’ll wait patiently.
When you’re through,
I’ll rise each new morn
in a lovelier hue.
