Pains of Love

How can I really do it
How can I really care
Sometimes I’d just say screw it
Sometimes I’d just not care

I waited for you forever
Somehow it don’t seem fair
You did not want to touch me
But when someone did you’d care

I needed to be wanted
And wanted to be needed
I’ll dream about you always
Even though you just don’t care

I know I really hurt you
It was not meant in vain
I cannot redo what I did
Nor take away your pain

I won’t ask your forgiveness
It just would not be that fair
I feel lost in the wilderness
Or trapped within a snare

I am happy that I knew you
And glad you were my friend
Forever I’ll remember you
My love will never end
