Pains

Physical suffering, too many, Afflicted by physical diseases and pains, Inconceivable that nothing can be done, Never-Never Land; an imaginary place without diseases and pains, could that be? Serenity; quiet the mind, body, soul, guide me Dear Lord, free me of disease and pain.

Doc told me I must wear my neck brace until my lumbar surgery to repair a fractured spine, March 26th. Once healed, I'll have to have extensive therapy on both my neck and lower back. This year is a nightmare, but I keep my mind mentally busy so I don't go crazy. Thanks for asking. Warm Smiles Always, Connie

Is there courses on PS on how to write Haiku of other styles of poetry? If so, where are they?

I have to wear my neck brace 24-7 so I won't know how successful my surgery is. The neck brace comes off in April, 2 months wearing it. may I should have my lumbar surgery and hopefully by July physical therapy. Thanks to PS I've kept myself mentally busy helping, spirits high. Warm Smiles, Connie

Thanks for your congratulation for my featured poem. I'm humbled. At the time I wrote because it was very personal and it still is, but I'm recovering from my first surgery and in April I'll have my second. Sometimes one has to free one's mind from the physical pain . Warm Smile Always, Connie

connie, my heart goes out to you. I have this now too, but to a small degree compared to you. right now I have no soupmail or member area, but when I get it back, you can write me of your problems. I feel like you must be someone who suffers a lot and my prayers for you. Luv, Andrea

Andrea, when I wrote this I was told I had to have a 4th cervical surgery, and a 6th lumbar surgery. Went through, "Why Me", felt sorry for myself. Over that now. Cervical surgery tomorrow. Warm Smiles, Connie

Poignant write this! Pain inflicts the body and mind and robs us of joy. It's human to hope for a world without pain - faith in such a world keeps our hope alive. Well written Acrostic!
