Painfully So

All I can see When I look at you Is what you did to me, Not knowing what to do. Each day is really tough, So full of pain and sorrow. Hoping I'm strong enough To make it to tomorrow. Constantly I am sad, A feeling I can't explain. You hurt me so very bad, Causing the ultimate pain. I know you did apologize, But you seem to not get How your cheating and lies Is something I will never forget. You need to do more, Do everything you can, To get back to before And become a better man. I need your help through this, To move on and start to heal. Being close to you, I really miss And all that we used to feel. This may take awhile, So please hold my hand. Walking mile after mile, Leaving footprints in the sand. (12/30/06)
