Painful Hurt

She said it didn’t hurt Some words may lie parched along with the collage …but it doesn’t hurt It feels like the beginning of something, Like when a breeze flew her hat your way Or when the unlikeliest of human scent parted a sea It didn’t hurt How could it possibly hurt… When each painful wave restores a smile, And each smile repeats… To think of hurt when tears render words timeless And time itself consents to peaceful convulsions… requires that it hurt
