Pain Worth Forgetting

If I lent a hand would you do the same If I gave you my mind would you keep me sane I told you I loved you, but you ran away You promised you'd never hurt me But did anyway You gave up on me Left me alone to rot You promised you'd love me forever Perhaps you just forgot How much you meant to me Now with nobody left All I see is the spite you left A locked door without a key As I dangle high above your empty bedside Your photo is the last thing that I see The smile you left on that photograph Gave me my empathy Now as I feel the blood rush through Awaiting the rope help erase the memories of you
