Pain

He takes a step back
Then halts and stares at
the one who once had
A piece of his heart

A prayer rose forth
A tear to wipe not
He takes a step back
And accepts his lot

She's gone!, she's gone!
Her words!,her words!
A sigh!, a sigh!
Drawn sword!, drawn sword!

A bloody drunken fool
wallowing in a red pool
A broken valve gushes endlessly
distresses a town incessantly
