Pain
Pain is a sensation which we can feel at the present moment,
What was suffered in the past, was for the past strictly meant,
One cannot feel, what took place in the dead and buried past.
The past sensation of pain was transient, as it could not last.
Discomfort which we feel is the momentary awareness of pain, Future pain can be only imagined, attempt to experience it is in vain,
So we endure it in the present, just for a fleeting moment or two,
If one thinks in that perspective, it is not very hard to do.
Awareness of pain, is fortunately a subjective mental faculty,
By blocking out the thought, from the suffering one is free,
Pain can hurt only if we let it expand to its fullest scope,
One must know how to deal with it, how best to cope!
