very complex free verse bl to be a haiku it must be only 1 solitary momnet in time so you would need to stick with the fire flies, the city or the owl but putting so much into it takes it away from being a haiku, thanks so much for always stopping by my writes and YOU TOO please DO critique me! The scene depicted by your first two lines are quite ingenious (I especially liked the comparison of the bush, covered with flashing fireflies, to big city lights) -- although your first line could use an additional syllable (perhaps "flashing" instead of "flash"?) Very nice.
