Overwhelmed

A little pain, let's you know you are alive. A lot pain makes you want to die. Agonizing torture all from within. How do I explain? Where would I begin? Like a mighty waterfall it overwhelms you and all you want to do, is cry. Yet you do what you can to get by. But the days are long. Nights seem even longer. I've heard it said. What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. That may be true... Except when you can endure no longer.

yes a little bit of pain is needed for life, but when you are overwhelmed with it,it becomes difficult to endure.

I identify with your painful words. Your imagery of what we are told to do compared to our reality is well written.
