Overcome It and Come Out the Other End
Were going through life trying to do our best
But pain and suffering deviate us from our quest
Faith is not something you should lack
We just need some guidance to keep us on track
Don’t keep us waiting looking up and guessing
Send us down your everlasting love and blessing
We go to church because we are at a loss
We see him there before us on a cross
We fall to our knees to say a prayer
In hope that heaven is listening and will care
We cry for help with for someone to hear it
The only ones that matter are the father the son and the holy spirit
We need to thank you in so many ways
All you want from us in return is some well deserving praise
You give us a test to teach us how to learn and mend
To overcome it and come out the other end
