Over and Over

Here lying in bed with you tonight,
once again, silent tears
roll down my cheeks.
I try to take a breath
and a single shudder escapes.
You hear.
Your frustration with me is evident
and you sigh.
That is how I know,
that in this moment,
I am alone in my pain.
Only God knows why I cry.
