Over and Done

As I lay awake at night I wonder why I sit and cry wishing and hoping that I would die I try
and think back but all I see is an unhappy kid and again its me as time has passed nothing
has changed everything that was is still the same as I open my eyes I see the shame that is
my life and boy am I lame I cant do any thing right so on this faithful night I take my knife it
glistens and shines in the full moon light now is the end for this lost fight I hold the blade with
all my might and as the knife slides throw my skin I feel the release as the flow of blood
begins and it dose not cease it only grows stronger as I grow weak and soon enough I will
sleep but shall I not wake from my slumber I will not dream those nightmares that wake me
with my own screams to night I enter the eternal sleep and for the first and last time I smile
so sweet they will see that all ways not right and find me in my bed under the covering of
morning sun for my life is over and now done
