Over

Staring at the clock
Watching the time go by
You sneak into my mind
I remember the first time we said hi

I start to think about your eyes
And then your slightly crooked smile
I do this every night
Asking myself if I should dial

I imagine the conversation
What we could possibly say
I try to muster up the courage
To get this out of the way

I don't want to sit in bed
And cry all night long
Sick and tired of thinking about
The numerous things that went wrong

I lay down
And a single thought begins to hover
I finally realize
The word "us" is truly over

I think we have all gone through these emotions after the break down in a relationship - its hard when it happens but in time you pick yourself up and move on:-) Hugs Jan xx 7 xx
