Outlining Death In My Head
Awaken in the morning,
Outlining death in my head.
Making me feel dread.
I must move forward,
While thinking of the dead.
As my life continues onward,
I can't help but think of the end.
I Stop and close my eyes,
Look deep into my soul
Think about my own death
What will come,
When I die.
I am going insane.
I step outside myself,
I let my thoughts drain.
The anticipation,
To this exhilaration.
Now I stare death,
In the face.
As my heart begins to race,
Taking me here for,
What could be my last breath.
