Indeed there is much discord in our modern cities, but it seems you have found a sanctuary where you can hide away from the "nodding heads" of society's wealthy. (Also makes me think of those nodding head dogs we used to see on the dashboards of cars.) I sense welcome peace in this write, my friend. Well done! Love, Carolyn

Such an image, ice cubes clinking in the nodding head. Sometimes you are too deep for me, L'nass! but i sure do love reading the words. And this one makes me think of all the many people just agreeing to everything they have to do while not really wanting to do it. Well, unlike Sara Teasdale, I just enjoy things of beauty but don'tt feel the deep sorrow she felt about life. Do you enjoy alot any of the classic rhyming poets like Emily Dickinson and others? It's so nice to get to know you here!
