Out On the Veranda

A lap full of warm animals
Out sitting on the veranda
Relaxing time my rationale
A lap full of warm animals
At least I have their approval
And glad it's not a Giant Panda
A lap full of warm animals
Out sitting on the veranda

One cat clawing and one dog washing
the cat..

Someone has to prepare lunch now...

cute cute cute, Sara. Why not the panda. I would quite like a baby panda on my lap. I wonder if it is more than 150 pounds though. In that case, I guess not!!!

A lap full of warm animals are some true friends. They don't betray. I would love to see a giant Panda, but from afar. Thanks for sharing..... Lucilla

Awww, how are your pets? I bet they are happy if they are both on your lap! I just love how your dog licks the cat's ears, that's so cute! Our dog thinks he's the big stuff, but his is only 4.5 lbs, and is terrified when he encounters a dog near him, but he'll bark like crazy! I really enjoyed reading this enlightening poem this evening! What a positive piece, Great work!!
