Out of Time!

Planning your demise is like tip-toeing on a tight rope realising there's no net challenging a speeding car and daring it to stop mortgaging your manhood amassing liabilities with no program of repayment leaping to the wrong conclusions leaning toward self-delusions indulging in the same old self-defeating speculations endorsing self-destruction till you're finally out of time!

You’re right, I love it! The path of demise that we all tread and yet so many fail to notice. Mortgaging your manhood, how true this rings. Good job!

Incredible writing, Keith! Indeed, there are times in our darkest hours when we feel like we are "tip-toeing on a tight rope." That really nails the message home for me. But I think my favorite line is "amassing liabilities with no program of repayment." Surely a suicidal person must feel that way, but it also describes what got our national into an economic freefall. Great work! Love, Carolyn (Will get to McMurtry soon. Would love your input on a cover design. Might I email it to you?
