Out of the Shadows

Unpredictable behaviors Keep filling up my hours The nights haunted my days My existence loses its ways There was only sadness to gain When happiness turns into pain Just imagine how it might feel When all parts of life no more real But somehow among the shades I found a light that never fades A sudden illumination, a flare Everyone has known it as a prayer

Shirley, Your verse reminds me of the truth in the saying (paraphrased)...."Light cannot be overcome by darkness, but darkness will ever be trumped by the light." Great writing..... Jake

Yes..I'm agree with you, Justin. Its so easy to became marooned in our strange perspective. But I think every person has the power within them to go and find the courage to keep on going..
