Out of Sight

Our vision gives to us insight, from where
We've been, where we are, and where we're going.
Though its rapid review proceeds quickly,
The present horizon can be slowing.

Just as our day towards the end shows a sunset,
There is confidence that again, it will rise.
Leaving its wonder without abandonment,
Just beautiful colors and a sight for sore eyes.

The picture our mind delivers, allows us to
Create a peaceful portrait to understand.
Where a respite is often felt upon sundown,
Yet the visions persist, as if planned.
