Out of Body

Poem: Out Of Body

 A dream occurred
within my dream -

I saw myself floating upward
out from my nightly slumber;

I saw myself in a restless
sleep

Suddenly, I soared above
a radiant glow in the diamond
sky,

to somewhere beyond the other
side of a full blue moon.

A great bright Divine light
appeared, engulfing my being

In an instance my soul was
exalted!

all ailments was purged of hurt
pain and sorrow - I felt born
again.

It was euphoric; blissful,
a peace that I've never
known -

I wanted to hold on
to this feeling forever.....

So I took a hurried step towards
a portal within the Great Bright
Divine Light -

A voice cried out: "Your work is
not finished."

Abruptly, I found myself awake
from my nightly restless slumber -
