` Colorful autumn leaves piling, scarves wrapped and jackets are zipped Pumpkins with faces are smiling, noses and cheeks rosy nipped Cinnamon spice on the breezes, fireplace embers aglow Taking a walk ‘fore it freezes, hoping and wishing for snow Feeling the chill of the season, here on our day filled with fun Not even needing a reason, out in the October sun Written for the: October Sun Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Line Gauthier

you paint a beautiful picture, and i love the romance of a fireplace and the scent of wood burning...but, you can keep the snow...one year we had it before halloween, somewhere i have pictures of snowmen with pumpkin heads, anyway great penning my friend, best wishes in the contest :) hugs
