Out Here

How come I feel this sudden urge to sing? How can I bring happiness to you? How do I embrace liberty and take wing? How can I love you oh so true? I can go the distance I'm seeking reverence Out here on my own Out here, content without fear...all alone... Out here on my own Out here, my dear, till I'm gone I hope you can find me I wish you can clearly see That life out here is so much better when you sing That life out there is dangerous with its tragic sting I can go the distance I'm seeking reverence Out here on my own Out here, content without fear...all alone... Out here on my own Out here, my dear, till I'm gone Till I move on forward... Never going backward... On and on, I travel these mountains of elegance I welcome the sun with its amazing radiance How come you can't find your way to a secret place? How do you keep pace on this difficult, rapid race? I can go the distance I'm seeking reverence Out here on my own Out here, content without fear...all alone... Out here on my own Out here, my dear, till I'm gone I can go the distance I'm seeking reverence Out here on my own Out here, content without fear...all alone... Out here on my own Out here, my dear, till I move on... Till the day is almost done Till I see the shining sun Till I see the darkness gone I'll be moving on and on and on I can go the distance I'm seeking reverence Out here on my own Out here, content without fear...all alone... Out here on my own Out here, my dear, till I'm gone Till I move on out here I won't shed no tear I will not live in fear My heart will be full of cheer When I'm done here...when I'm out here... Out there, there is danger I was always meant to be a singer Things get a lot more stranger The darkness fades and the light will linger Around me...around me... Out here...in the midst of the sea... I can go the distance I'm seeking reverence Out here on my own Out here, content without fear...all alone... Out here on my own Out here, my dear, till I'm gone Out here on my own... Out here without a backbone All along, all alone...alone... Out here with mere cheer I will have nothing to fear For, God is drawing near
