Author's Notes: This poem, "Our Winter Love," is written as a "Triolet" which is a French verse form. The rhyme scheme for this Triolet is: ABaAabAB. All verses of this Triolet are set in Iambic Tetrameter. This particular poem touches on a young couple walking together on the fresh fallen snow in the radiance of a "sunlit morning," all the while understanding that Nature's an integral aspect of this whole process as part of God's ultimate plan. I believe you will find the magical words of this Triolet, and the message of hope and love it conveys to the reader, well-worth your time to read and reflect on them.
