Notes About The Poem

Author's Notes: This poem, "Our Winter Love," is written as a "Triolet" which is a French verse form. The rhyme scheme for this Triolet is: ABaAabAB. All verses of this Triolet are set in Iambic Tetrameter. This particular poem touches on a young couple walking together on the fresh fallen snow in the radiance of a "sunlit morning," all the while understanding that Nature's an integral aspect of this whole process as part of God's ultimate plan. I believe you will find the magical words of this Triolet, and the message of hope and love it conveys to the reader, well-worth your time to read and reflect on them. We walk sweetly on the fresh snow,
this sunlit morn all bright and white; 
making snowballs as we now go.
We walk sweetly on the fresh snow.
Nature’s snow makes our love now grow!
Our love’s alchemic and so right!

My senses in totality are in awe of your wonderful lines. Liquefied bliss from the boil of glorious words has brought out enchanting aroma beyond scaling. 7 is simply an underscore for this fine share.
