Our Time

All day long, your face echos in my mind.
Wishing that forever,we stood still in that time.
Standing in the hall in your genteel embrace.
Lip gloss kisses on the side of your face.
Spanish words send shivers down to my knees.
"Te amo" whispered in my ear like a breeze.
"Te amo dos" I say out of breath.
Though the only contact is your arms around my waist, and my hand on your neck.
Quivering knees give way to your speak.
As more Spanish words you begin to repeat.
"Don't go" I want to cry, as the time comes near, and you sigh.
Fluent words in my ear, some of them I barely hear.
"Te amo" we whisper again before you disappear.
