Our Songs
I put on a cd today to hear your favorite guy sing
A song with a message about the coming of spring
And it would be great if spring was always here
You felt winter weather was always way too severe
While I never memorized, words stay in my head
I hear our favorite songs that I was gladly fed
The one about thinking twice is still fun to play
I remember all the words still, till this very day
Many songs we laughed together to, were very witty
The one about the king of the hill I’d say was a ditty
And while sad songs make me think of you, Cutie
They all make me remember your unique beauty
While your taste in music was considered very smart
I was always very happy it was so close to my heart
