Our Smiling Snowman
And so winter came and turned our world white
Much to my children's joy and delight,
They quickly donned coats, their hats and their gloves
Then hurried outside as snow fell from above.
"Lets build a snowman" they shouted with glee
"Dad get a carrot" they called out to me,
So get one I did, and some coals and a hat
And then we made him, all jolly and fat.
Now there we were, our noses aglow
Admiring our work we stood in a row,
Such a fine fellow we all agreed
Our smiling snowman, looked splendid indeed.
