Our Shame

An Eagles tear fell from a failing sky, fell to the dust of his last domain. We saw all but nothing now, plumes of gold have borne the pain. The pain of man's careless eyes, who wrongly thought he owned the skies. Owned the skies, owned the earth, far too blind to see their worth

I hear you, Daniel. Mother Earth has been abused by man and all of God's creatures are suffering. The oil spillin the Gulf of Mexico will find seagulls and pelicans crying along with the eagles. Indeed, it's "our shame." Well done, my friend! Nice to see you posting again. Love, Carolyn
