We waited so for Spring to come!
It came and went, now Summer's here,
for sure, the best time of the year.
Long Summer hours provide more fun;
outdoors midst nature's sceneries
fulfill warm-weather fantasies,
Like sea shore's magical sanctum
'neath skies of blue, white sandy beach
and cooling waves within our reach.
Before we know, the path of Sun
will drift...then, fading summertime,
with changes to more chilly clime,
Will take us back to cool Autumn-
recolor leaves from green to gold,
that leads us back to Winter's cold.
Then one more Winter to welcome
to end our yearly season's tour
that bids us wait for Spring once more.
We waited so for Spring to come.
Long summer hours provide more fun
like sea shore's magical sanctum.
Before we know, the path of sun
will take us back to cool Autumn-
Then one more Winter to welcome.
