Our Queen

I looked around
At all the beauty
I could see

And realised
I'm here
But somewhere else I need to be

My beautiful country
Took me in their arms
Upon their heart

But I'm sleepy now
Philip is waiting
For our new start

When it's time
Something inside
Seems to know

But as my eyes
Begin to close
I'll never let you go

Farewell my country
Don't be sad or cry
I've had an amazing life
Its not goodbye

So don't grieve but sing
I've taught him well
Long live
The king

I enjoyed reading this one about the long living and long reigning Queen. Thanks for sharing and for dropping by my pages. Sara
