Our Moon

I heard the echo through the window
I swear I heard the echo myself through the window
Last night when our moon appeared
She fully showed with gleaming smile
Leaves were singing and swaying with glee:
Beautiful, beautiful our moon is
No sleep now nor rest
Once a month she comes out:
She lights the dark and shines like a diamond
Stupendous gleam and
Smiles like the day.

Animals Sung howl and louder:
Beautiful, beautiful our moon is;
No sleep now nor rest
Once a month she comes out
She lights the dark and shines like a diamond,
Stupendous gleam and
Smiles like the day;
She counts the month and
Also counts the year for us to know.
Beautiful, beautiful our moon is
We rejoice, and rejoice whenever she shows
